We create logistics solutions that work, even when nothing else does.
With the increasing occurrence of natural disasters and conflict around the globe, a proactive approach in disaster preparation and response provides governments and communities with the assurance that life-supporting services can be supplied quickly and effectively.
At SIS, we provide crisis, disaster and emergency management planning and services to help government, non-government organisations (NGOs) and corporations plan for emergency response and subsequent community recovery.
With the backing of our global network, we can provide fast procurement solutions and remote logistics services in regional and often challenging locations on earth.
Our contingency and emergency services include:
Rapid Response Logistics
Our rapid response teams have assisted in emergency situations including Bundaberg floods and Cylone Yasi in 2013, the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004, and the Haiti and Japanese earthquakes. We help establish emergency camps, supply chains and manage the movement of aid and essential supplies to where they are needed most.
We also provide emergency support and aeromedical evacuation (AME) services as part of our integrated logistics operations in remote locations, such as the Solomon Islands.
Movement control
We manage the movement of peacekeeping personnel and equipment between locations worldwide. This involves large-scale air and sea movements from contributing countries to conflict and disaster zones around the world.
